It’s Showtime at the Old Melbourne Gaol

It’s Showtime at the Old Melbourne Gaol

Sunday 18th of February marked the official launch of the new Showtime Event Group held at the historic Old Melbourne Gaol. In conjunction with the Melbourne Convention Bureau it was the first event for The Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME). The evening was a roaring success – the Gaol was filled with luxurious furniture, chandeliers hanging from the gantry, a suspended edible dessert station, interactive media wall and free-flowing champagne.

The evening was host to a range of guests who live and breathe the events industry. So the pressure was on to impress in all aspects and display our newest unique and exclusive event space, The Old Melbourne Gaol.

The guests were treated to a range of food which delighted every tastebud, such as popcorn & chipotle mayo prawn popsicles and 16 hours slow braised pork belly, shaoxing wine jelly and pork floss, topped off with free flowing Mumm Champagne.

Entertainment was provided by Solution Entertainment, this included a duet who filled the courtyard with music as the guests arrived and an opera singer who gave a performance from the third level in the Old Melbourne Gaol.

The feedback that we received was exceptional, from the food, the location and the fantastic staff service we all came together to make the night a memorable one and a sign of things to come here at Showtime Event Group.
