As we mobilise our operation at Rippon Lea Estate we have chosen four of our best to head up the wider team.
Hayley Murnane – Head of Weddings
Hayley is our number one weddings veteran, she knows the ins and outs of every little detail that’s required to create the dream wedding for any couple. From first contact all the way through until the end of the big day, her wealth of knowledge and keen eye make her our go-to girl! Hayley started with Showtime in 2012, and was part of the growth that cemented (what is now) Showtime Event Group. Hayley took some time off to start her family but she is back with the Showtime family ready to to take the Weddings department to new heights in her dream role. “I have always loved weddings and even after all the years, I can’t see myself doing anything else!”
Marco Kunst – Head of Operations
Marco has been the second in charge of South Wharf operations for the past 12 months, and plays a key role in the development of the new front of house crew. His attention to the smaller details and dedication to ensuring that every client walks away with an exemplary experience is what makes Marco ideal for heading up an historic site such as Rippon Lea Estate. His go-getter attitude and approach has seen Marco use his lock down time effectively by managing the City of Melbourne’s cleaning teams, and re deploying a lot of Showtime Event Groups casual team. ‘I’m very excited to execute a range of events at Rippon Lea, especially the activation of so many different spaces’.
Laura Reddaway – Business Development Manager
Laura recently won the MEA Award for Victorian Sales, Marketing and Business Development Manager of the Year, and plays a huge role in Showtime Event Group’s presence in the Business Events market. Laura works hand in hand with the Melbourne Convention Bureau, and selling Melbourne as a business events destination on the world stage. Rippon Lea Estate will provide a variety of options for the creative conference market, as well as the domestic and international incentive market. ‘I can’t wait to re-introduce Rippon Lea Estate to a range of clients, especially the incentive market’.
Elias Graydon – Client Relationship Executive
Elias has been a member of the SEG family for some time, and was a core member of the Front of House Team whilst studying his Event Management degree at William Angliss College. Elias is moving to Rippon Lea from a Coordinator role at State Library where he previously managed several key clients including government, education and the Library’s’ corporate partner events.
Ryan McVeigh – Head Chef
Ryan has headed the kitchen team at the State Library since Showtime Event Group took over in August 2018, and will now oversee the team based at Rippon Lea. Ryan is working on several custom menus for the space that include collaborations with others, and speciality menus for signature events, such as the Ms Fisher exhibition. ‘I love drawing on the history of the space when creating custom menus. This is a very exciting venues, with a lot to look forward to’.
